Anyone invited to a Pool will need to create a Pool account in order to deposit money, get a debit card and spend from the Pool.

If I invite someone to a Pool, do they need to create a Pool account?

FDIC insurance is provided by First Internet Bank, Member FDIC, and applies only to deposits held at First Internet Bank. Pool is not itself an FDIC-insured institution. FDIC ‘pass-through’ insurance applies to deposits only if regulatory requirements are satisfied, including proper record keeping of customer ownership. Deposits are insured up to $250,000 per depositor, per ownership category, provided requirements for pass-through FDIC insurance coverage are met.
